The video, which was viewed by Cox Media Group National Content Desk, is disturbing.

The footage, from the body-worn cameras of two officers who went into the building to confront the shooter -- officers Rex Englebert and Michael Collazo -- shows a group of officers entering the building and yelling, “Let’s go.” They are seen going from room to room looking for the shooter as they yell “Metro Police.”

According to Nashville police officials, Collazo, a 9-year veteran of the force, and Englebert, a 4-year veteran, are the officers who shot Hale.

A fire alarm is heard throughout the video as officers complete their search on the ground floor and head upstairs.

As police get up the stairs, gunfire is heard. Moving toward the gunfire, officers appear to come upon a body as one officer says, “Got one down.”

They move through a hall and into what appears to be a common area as the shooter fires at the officers. The officers return fire and the shooter is seen on the ground.

Officers are yelling, “Get your hands away from the gun,” as the more than 6-minute video ends.

The alleged shooter, identified by police as 28-year-old Nashville resident Audrey Elizabeth Hale, entered the school just after 10 a.m. and walked the hall for several minutes, shooting a custodian, a substitute teacher and the school’s top administration along with three students.

Police shot and killed Hale at around 10:27 a.m.

The victims were identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney, all age 9; Cynthia Peak, 61; Katherine Koonce, 60; and Mike Hill, 61, according to police.

Security footage released Monday showed Hale shooting out the windows of doors to the school, then walking the halls holding a military-style weapon, while a second weapon.
