Troy Ave is planning to sue the nightclub where T.I. was performing in New York.
Ave is claiming that the nightclub failed to have a secure location which was a "security breach that led to the death of his bodyguard and his own arrest for attempted murder".
Troy Ave lawyer said: "He is the victim here. He did not bring a gun into this place. And we are seeking redress for the negligence".
