SAN ANTONIO — Now that Thanksgiving is over, another holiday tradition is upon us as Christmas approaches -- porch pirates.
In San Antonio, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office posted a video Friday that showed a woman allegedly stealing a package, KSAT reported.
The incident occurred Oct. 30 at about 5:15 p.m., the television station reported.
In the video, a woman, believed to be in her 30s, emerged from a four-door white sedan, walked to the front door of a home to grab a large package, and then jogged back to the car, the sheriff’s office said.
The woman was wearing red pants and sunglasses, but no face-covering.
The incident was recorded on a home surveillance camera, KSAT reported.
“As we know, during this time, porch pirates are eagerly awaiting to steal your packages,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post. “Please have a plan in place to receive your package if you know you won’t be home.”
