For the first time ever, the iconic New Year’s ball in Times Square will drop twice.

The reason? To celebrate the United State’s 250 year anniversary!

The first ball will drop at midnight signifying the start to 2026. The second time will come approximately 4 minutes after and drop with the colorway being red, white, and blue, according to Today.
