Freya Skye
With her bright, agile singing voice, Freya Skye makes her own catchy, empowering pop music while also navigating work as an actor and singer in films, television shows, and video games. She was just 12 years old when she recorded her first single, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest entry "Lose My Head," in 2022. She starred as Nova in the Disney Channel movie musical ZOMBIES 4: DAWN OF THE VAMPIRES in 2025, the same year she released personal material such as the singles "Can't Fake It" and "silent treatment."
Born Freya Skye Jones in Buckinghamshire, England, Freya Skye began singing and acting at age five. Her first appearance on the international stage was at 13, when she competed in the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan, Armenia. She represented the U.K. with her song "Lose My Head." Skye finished first in the global public vote and fifth in the official standings. At the time, she was a student at the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.
Around the same time, she began working as a voice actor in video games, including the English versions of Dragon Quest Treasures (2022) and Final Fantasy XVI (2023). In 2024, after signing with Hollywood Records, she released several effervescent pop songs, including "Who Says" and the bouncy seasonal outing "Winter Dream." She released more songs in early 2025 before appearing that July in the Disney Channel original movie ZOMBIES 4: DAWN OF THE VAMPIRES, the fourth entry in the popular teen musical franchise. As Nova Bright, leader of the Daywalkers, Skye appeared on most of the songs on the movie's soundtrack, including "Snow Angels," Nova's duet with Victor (Malachi Barton). She also took part of in the month-long North American arena tour Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour. In addition to guest spots on TV's Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, back over on Hollywood Records, Skye released the song "silent treatment" before the end of 2025. ~ Marcy Donelson
